General Information
Lake Chatuge our base of operations here at Young Harris Water Sports. However, we do deliver to several other lakes across the Tri-State area. Lake Chatuge is located in two states, Georgia and North Carolina. Lake Chatuge one of the largest lakes we serve, so you can be sure of plenty of room for all your lake activities. You can spend days exploring this lake on one of our jet skis or boats and still leave plenty undiscovered.
Lake Chatuge has 128 miles of shoreline, and 4 miles of island shoreline giving a total of 132 miles of shoreline. Chatuge Dam is 144 feet high, 2,850 feet long and 980 feet wide at the base. The reservoir fills 7,050 acres, and is 13 miles long.
The reservoir is operated for many uses, including flood control, power generation, water quality, and aquatic ecology. The reservoir also helps maintain navigation depth on the ferment dams, generating electricity at each one. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Reservation Policies
• Reservations are made for full day only on delivery rentals. (Call if you would like a half day rental we may be able to accommodate you)
• Two and four hour rentals are not available at all locations
• A major credit card is required to make a reservation. (No charges are made until the day of the rental).
• Weekly reservations require 7-day notice to cancel without penalty
• All other reservations require 48-hour notice
